WHAT IS MEDS?
The MEDS Automotive and Marine Products Division provides solutions for odors in motor vehicles, RVs and boats. Vehicles with yellowed or hazy headlights and environmentally damaged trim are quickly and easily restored to a like new condition with MEDS.
MEDS consist of tested and proven deodorizing processes, an easy to use headlight restoration system and a process to refurbish oxidized and chalky looking exterior trim.
MEDS products are specifically designed to facilitate the seamless integration of reducing costs and increasing revenues for vendors, dealers and distributors.

Our BLAST, MAINTENANCE, and FIBER FRESH products are eco-friendly, environmentally safe and registered with the EPA (#79814-3) as a deodorizer. These products are not a mask and eliminate the sources of odors including smoke, mold, mildew, food, pets and water damage. The EPA, FDA, OSHA and the UK Government have approved and recommended the active indgredients contained in these products.
We offer a variety of patented delivery systems to accomplish scalable odor remediation. The active oxidant in MEDS products is known to erradicate the bacterial sources of all these odors.
Once the bacterial source is destroyed through the MEDS odor remediation, there is no chance of the odor returning. Only when an odor is re-introduced into a previously treated area will there be a need for additional action.
As with any odor, intensity & length of permeation will dictate the number of treatments and the amount of time required for complete remediation.
Mothball and sprayed fruit scents are odors we are unable to treat.

| BLAST |

The MEDS deodorization process is effective in automobiles, RVs and boats. The primary ingredient in BLAST is known to eliminate odors caused from pets, smoke, water damage and organic compounds. The active-oxidant released upon merging the separated BLAST granules is a proven remedy to sources of most odors*. Since 2002, BLAST has been tested and proven to be an effective and affordable odor elimination process. Successful deodorization has been achieved with the stench caused by smoke, pets (including feline urine), water damage and even dead fish!* Our customers are amazed by the timely process and relieved to find an effective and permanent deodorization system!
BLAST is not a mask. The active-oxidant permeates the entirety of the passenger area to accomplish successful deodorization. Due to the complete infiltration of the compartment, BLAST continues to leave a clean, fresh scent within the treated area.
Depending on the severity of the odor, BLAST will usually deodorize a passenger cabin within 1 to 2 hours. A few easy steps will provide an odor free environment.
In laboratory and field trials, the MEDS active-oxidant has proven effective in the elimination of 95% of all odors.

| MAINTENANCE |

The MEDS MAINTENANCE program works to control odors from a diverse array of sources, including smoke, water damage and a wide variety of organic compounds. Pet odors, stench from decomposing flesh, bodily functions and a myriad of other odors have been effectively controlled utilizing the ongoing deodorization process of monthly MAINTENANCE. Owners of automobiles, boats and RV's are pleased with the uninterrupted fresh scent in treated passenger areas.
In laboratory and field trials, the MEDS deodorization solutions have proven effective against the causes of 95% of all odor problems.*
MEDS MAINTENANCE is a two granule time released active oxidant that will maintain an odor free environment in guest quarters, vehicles, RV's and boats for up to 30 days. MAINTENANCE is completely safe, environmentally friendly and designed for continued odor control over an extended period. The MEDS MAINTENANCE program is perfectly suited for fleet and rental vehicles
Field-testing results: Effective odor elimination within passenger and guest areas was achieved for longer periods by placing a MEDS MAINTENANCE pouch either in the trunk or under the seat. Similar technology has been employed to create a cleaner atmospheric environment within college athletic facilities and in basements of public facilities

| FIBER-FRESH |

| FIBER-FRESH is a composite deodorizer designed for floors, carpets and upholstery.
The properties of all the MEDS deodorizers eliminate odors caused by smoke, water damage and pets.
FIBER-FRESH can and should be used be used in conjunction with BLAST when deodorizing a car with water damage, pets, smoke or severe odor issues.
With regular use, FIBER-FRESH will keep carpets, upholstery and floors smelling fresh by eliminating problem odors at their source.
Just sprinkle FIBER-FRESH on the problem areas and vacuum once the odor is gone, within 24 hours.

*Rarely, we may encounter organic or chemical compounds where the MEDS solution will not perform the required task. Mothball odor is an example of one obstacle to the BLAST or MAINTENANCE process.

| RESTOREM |

| Plastic headlights become cloudy and yellowed for a variety of reasons: environmental conditions, chemicals, acid rain or oxidization. Traditional restoration methods have included wet sanding and buffing using a variety of products. Using a buffer increases the risk of burning the paint or plastic surrounding the headlight. Buffing causes the plastic lens to cloud within a short period, exposing the lenses to increased contamination. Most processes will not protect the lens with a finishing coat. Operator error can provide inconsistent results. Typically, a vendor can repair two sets per hour with an average billing of $45 to $65 per set. In some cases, the restoration process can take as long as an hour.
MEDS RESTOREM is a simple two-step process eliminating the need for buffing. Repair both headlights in 2 to 3 minutes! A vendor can easily do 10 sets of headlights per hour. The product requires no additional equipment. Repairs are performed where the vehicle sits. Step 1 cleans the lens and provides a preview to the finished product. Step 2 provides a lasting sealant protecting the headlights for up to a year. MEDS RESTOREM is a quick and consistent method of plastic lens restoration. It is an excellent revenue source for vendors. Dealers can perform this service ‘in house’, saving an average of $35 to $55 per car!

| SNAP |

Hard plastic trim pieces fade and oxidize over time. Exterior plastic develops a faded, grey, or chalky appearance, making the vehicle cosmetically unappealing. Dealers pay vendors hundreds of dollars to improve the appearance of the trim work. Painting requires taping and masking the surrounding areas and will often 'flake' off in a very short time. Other products are equally time consuming. Test results have shown the majority of these coatings will peel off the plastic over time. Silicone products are effective up to the second lot wash, if you get lucky. Often these products run, streaking and staining the vehicle paint.
MEDS SNAP is a proven product to treat and restore a variety of hard plastic surfaces exposed to the elements. There is no need for masking or spray guns. MEDS SNAP simply wipes on to treat and restore faded plastic. Curing is almost instantaneous with a quick swipe of a clean applicator pad. Easily wipe away excess drips or runs on painted surfaces with a mild detergent or window cleaner. No equipment or other supplies are required. Repair vehicles where they stand. MEDS SNAP is wax and silicone free making it body shop and spot painter friendly. MEDS SNAP provides an extremely durable finish that cleans and restores the look of exterior plastic. A MEDS SNAP application will keep plastic trim looking and new for up to a year or more. MEDS SNAP applies easily and requires minimal training. One bottle of MEDS SNAP will restore an average of 10 cars. There are exceptions, especially early models of the Chevrolet Avalanche and Cadillac Escalade. One bottle will cover one of these vehicles.
